How to Rotate Videos and Images in Windows Movie Maker

You can rotate the video or image after adding it to your timeline.


Rotate a video clip or photo

1.After you add your images and videos to Timeline, select a clip you want to rotate.    

2. Choose a rotate icon on the top control bar of preview viewer, you can select four types:

  • Rotate  clockwise

  • Rotate  counterclockwise

  • Flip Horizontal

  • Flip Vertical

Rotate any angle of the clip

1.After you add your images and videos to Timeline, select a clip you want to rotate.    

2. Input the number at the rotate field, it can be set angle from -360 to 360.

Rotate the clip counterclockwise

1.After you add your images and videos to Timeline, select a clip you want to rotate.    countrotateclip.jpg

2.Click the "Rotate" button on the middle menu bar, the preview viewer will show the counterclockwise rotate.
